Reporting to the Director Sales, the Sales Rep - Southern Alberta is responsible to create Supreme portfolio of brand awareness and grow the business through connecting with key influencers within the cannabis industry.

The Sales Rep must have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships and closing deals. This role will often be tasked with generating sponsorship and networking events opportunities therefore it is essential that our Sales Rep be personable and professional.

  • Manage all accounts in assigned territory and establish Supreme as a premium partner with customers.
  • Create brand awareness and community engagement within given territory.
  • Seek new opportunities to increase brand exposure and grow volume.
  • Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize profitable share and volume through distribution, visibility and service.
  • Execute marketing initiatives and leverage them into consumer loyalty and sales.
  • Build and manage a network of key influencers in the cannabis community.
  • Identify and manage events that increase brand awareness.
  • Execute trade education initiatives that ensure retail network is aligned with our product portfolio and understands premium cannabis.
  • Effectively manage territory, maintain CRM database on daily customer/prospect interactions and targets to coordinate with business goals.
  • Effectively lead industry and brand education sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Achieve KPI targets on:
o Volume and Share

o Distribution

o Product placement

o Product quality standards

  • Build and develop relationships with managers and employees at each assigned retail location. Find unique opportunities to promote Supremes portfolio of brands within the confines of the regulations.
  • Execute territory annual plan and commitments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time including building effective weekly/monthly schedules.
  • Maintain and accurately track annual sales and consumer budgets.
  • Effectively manage a budget to drive profitable growth within acceptable trade practices and aligns with overall brand strategy and merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage sales expenses within allotted budget.
  • Generate new Sales leads, event leads and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Execute all programs within established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director in planning sales activities and setting sales goals for assigned territory.
  • Travel within the designated territory is required, as well as occasional travel to the Global Headquarters in Toronto.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
  • Experience in CPG sales Minimum of 3 years.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
