Equipment You'll Work On
Commercial boilers, hydronic heating systems, make-up air units, rooftop units (RTUs), pumps, heat exchangers, domestic hot water systems, gas-fired equipment, and mechanical room systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial gas-fired equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Service commercial boiler and hydronic heating systems
- Complete start-ups and commissioning of heating equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and combustion-related issues
- Complete service reports and work orders
- Deliver professional customer service while maintaining safe work practices
What We're Looking For
Required
- Valid Gas Technician 1 (G1) Licence
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean abstract
- Minimum 5 years of commercial gas service experience
- Experience servicing commercial boiler systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional customer service and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience working on rooftop units (RTUs) and make-up air units (MUAs)
- High-rise residential or commercial building experience
- Familiarity with commercial plumbing and hydronic systems
- Experience with pumps, heat exchangers, and mechanical rooms
