Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operation of our kitchen. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with food items according to established recipes and standards
- Support kitchen staff with meal preparation and plating
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Assist with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems for customer orders and payments
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and processing transactions
- Support guest services by providing excellent hospitality and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
