We are seeking a knowledgeable, experienced and client-focused medical aesthetician to join our wonderful team at Muse Laser & Wellness Clinic. We share a clinic space with Kawartha Holistic in the vibrant community of Lindsay, Ontario, located at Unit 1 - 84 Russell Street West in the Queen’s Square Plaza.

At Muse Laser & Wellness Clinic, we offer a curated range of services including laser skincare, laser body treatments, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, and more. We also offer a selection of skincare and wellness products for purchase in-store and online.
Your Responsibilities Would Include:
- Performing a range of advanced facial, laser and skincare treatments, which may include medical-grade facials, laser hair removal, laser hair restoration, laser tattoo removal, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels and other aesthetic treatments offered by the clinic
- Conducting detailed skin analysis consultations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Educating clients regarding appropriate skincare routines, treatment options and home-care products
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client documentation, including treatment history, treatment notes, recommendations, progress and follow-up plans
- Following clinic protocols for treatment room maintenance, infection prevention, sanitation, equipment care and client safety
- Building strong and lasting relationships with clients and encouraging appropriate return visits
- Recommending additional treatments and skincare products that would benefit the client
- Participating in clinic marketing, educational initiatives, social media content and promotional activities where appropriate
Our Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- Recognized education, certification and/or diploma in aesthetics or medical aesthetics from a certified institution
- Certification in laser and advanced skin treatments is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of skin anatomy, conditions and treatment protocols
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on aesthetician experience providing professional skincare, laser and facial treatments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to client safety
- Experience with devices such as Fotona, Hollywood Spectra and/or Clarity II laser systems is an asset
- Previous experience in a medical aesthetics clinic, medical spa, dermatology clinic or similar environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence
- Passion for continuing education and staying current with industry trends including new treatments, technologies and skincare products

Job Information:
Expected hours: 20-35 hours per week (flexible)
Compensation: Commission split per service
Work location: In person at 1-84 Russell St. W. in Lindsay, Ontario
