The hourly rate for this position is $$28-$33 per hour.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
The hours for this position are Mon-Thurs 4 pm - 2:30 am

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Production Welder (M04) for our Airdrie facility.
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for MIG welding and Spot-welding fabrication to assemble enclosures and frames and/or other projects, as required, for Airdrie’s product lines.

In this function you will:
- Mark orders as started or complete on DMM.
- Fabricate assemblies from component parts.
- Inspect welding equipment to ensure it is safe and operable condition, including inventory of supplies and spare parts.
- Maintain daily schedule for welding work.
- Control the quality of the welds (according to the drawings and quality standards).
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects applied to the area.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge/experience with hand and power tools.
- Welding experience.
Position Success Criteria:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
