Long Beach Resort is a premier destination dedicated to providing our guests with unforgettable, relaxing, and seamless experiences. We are looking for a warm, highly organized, and energetic Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our resort. The Role
As our Front Desk Receptionist, you are the face and voice of Long Beach Resort. You will set the tone for our guests' entire stay by providing a welcoming atmosphere, efficiently managing check-ins, and acting as the go-to resource for guest needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Welcoming & Check-In: Warmly greet guests upon arrival, process check-ins/check-outs efficiently, and issue room keys.
- Settling Guests In: Provide clear directions to rooms, explain resort amenities, and ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
- Communications Hub: Answer and route incoming phone calls with a professional and friendly tone. Manage guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Reservation Management: Assist with booking new reservations, modifying existing stays, and handling cancellations using our property management system.
- Problem Resolution: Listen to guest requests or concerns and resolve them promptly, escalating to management only when necessary.
- Administrative Support: Process payments, maintain accurate guest records, and keep the front desk area clean and organized.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a front desk role is strongly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to speak confidently and kindly to people from all walks of life.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning and using reservation software, payment processing systems, and standard office programs.
- Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet, stay calm under pressure, and find solutions with a smile.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and evenings, as the hospitality industry operates 24/7.
