- 40-50 hours per week
About the Role
Lagrange Mechanical (LMS) is currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our equipment manufacturing team. This position is based in our heated, clean, and well-maintained shop environment, offering year-round indoor work conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in assembly of water and sewer seacans, low-profile tanks and lift stations
- Assemble lift stations
- Perform general shop, yard, and equipment clean-up
- Use various hand tools, equipment, and materials
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
- Complete physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently
- Load and transport materials to and from shop
Requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools
- Strong work ethic and ability to show up consistently
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others
- Punctual and dependable
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Own reliable transportation
- Physically capable of meeting job demands
- Experience safely hauling trailers.
Assets (Not Required but Considered an Advantage)
- CSTS-09
- Standard First Aid
- Additional tickets (Overhead Crane, Skid Steer, Loader, etc.)
