Working with a team of creative alumni relations professionals, the Alumni Student Assistant will support the digital engagement of students and alumni via webinars, online networking, mentoring and virtual events; as well as in-person events, (when we are once again able to safely hold in-person events). The Alumni Student Assistant’s duties will include supporting the writing and development of program/event invitation communications; prepping emails for deployment; coding activities and updating the alumni database, general admin duties and providing excellent customer service in responding to inquiries & requests from alumni and the McMaster community.
This position is suited to a current McMaster student who is out-going, personable, demonstrates excellent communication skills, is interested in creating digital content and learning new digital platforms, organized and detail-oriented. A team-oriented approach to work and a love of McMaster will serve you well in this position.
This is an 8-month contract position with a weekly schedule of approximately 10- 15 hours, with flexibility around your school schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work is a requirement to assist in hosting of events (online and/or in-person).
