Job Responsibilities:
- Responds to customer request for quotes (RFQs) and engineering changes with cost and timing
- Creates and maintains excellent customers relations
- Works closely with other departments to analyze profitability using optimum manufacturing/design techniques via Engineering Change Process
- Identifies and propose cost improvement opportunities
- Expands customers awareness of our capabilities to implement changes and to develop a trusting and respectful relationship with our customers
- Suggest and implement improvements to internal process, information and procedures
- Assists in developing and maintaining a quote model and pricing strategy
- Maintains cost and sales reports for tracking and overall program profitability
- Knows and understands process documents and customer specific requirements as they relate to this job function
- Coordinates and supports commercial customer audits
- Creates and maintains Tooling and Capex budget
- Reviews and submits customer Steel Resale program material forms
- Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e., IATF16949, ISO14001)
- Adheres to company core values, integrity, respect, trust, honesty, fairness and loyalty
- Follows Code of Conduct and Ethics and related compliance policies
- Performs all duties in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with the Environmental Policy
- Performs other duties as required
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in costing and quoting, preference given to automotive or related manufacturing experience
- Good organizational and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with a variable workload
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to uphold confidentiality
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work overtime to meet business needs
EDUCATION:
- Post-secondary education in Business or Commerce, or equivalent education and experience.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
