Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Labourer specializing in Fence Repair to join our client. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various manual tasks related to fence installation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the job site. Duties
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of fences using hand tools and power tools.
- Measure and mark fence lines accurately to ensure proper alignment and height.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood panels, posts, concrete blocks, and other fencing components.
- Use framing carpentry skills to construct fence frames, supports, and gates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively on various projects.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and protocols.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse weather conditions.
