Babysitter: Watch over the Assistant Directors children. Accompany them to activities, know their whereabouts at all times during activities.
Organize play activities for the children when regular camp programming is not available and accompany them to programmed activities when they are .
Monitor children’s activities during rest periods and meals as needed.
Emergency First Aid or Equivalent and CPR “B”
Some experience with children 10 and under
Swimming ability is a must and ideally Bronze Cross certification
Tuck Shop: This person runs the Tuck Shop, keeping regular store hours after lunch, and keeping a running inventory. It is also your responsibility to input camper and staff purchases into the camp system. You will work closely with the Logistics Coordinator in the camp office. Computer skills are an asset. This person is organized, motivated and enjoys working in merchandising.
Keep a thorough inventory of all items in the Tuck Shop – split into July and August items.
Ensure merchandise is folded neatly and on display with prices for campers and staff to see.
Keep detailed records of the campers and staff who have purchased items from the Tuck Shop.
(Campers Tuck Bills) Import into Camp Brain, (Staff Tuck Bills) Give to Personnel Administrator.
Coordinate with the Logistics coordinator when items in the Tuck Shop are running low.
These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required.
Compensation varies depending on experience. All positions include room, board, laundry and use of facilities.
