Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cook and Cashier Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills by preparing delectable sandwiches while also learning the ins and outs of our cash register system. Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks, including slicing ingredients, assembling sandwiches, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Learn and operate the cash register system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including restocking ingredients and cleaning utensils and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
