Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to children's individual needs and interests
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive social interactions and emotional well-being
- Observe, assess, and document each child's progress, communicating findings with families and team members effectively
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices
- Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or assistance with disabilities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental milestones using computer systems
- Communicate clearly with parents, guardians, and team members to ensure consistent care and support for each child
Experience
- Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with relevant licensing authorities
- Proven experience working with young children in childcare environments
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse communities
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development, and inclusive practices
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Proficiency in computer operation, including documentation software and classroom management tools
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, mentorship, and positive guidance within the classroom

Pay: $22.00-$27.85 per hour
