Overview
We are seeking friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Servers to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in food preparation or setup as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods while providing attentive guest service.
- Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Has a food handlers course or open to getting one
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Familiarity with food industry standards including serving protocols, food preparation basics, and guest services.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
