We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, respectful and responsible Site Supervisor to manage on site commercial construction projects; to assist the Project Manager in the delivery of the projects by supervising and coordinating the on-site activities from the beginning of the project to the completion. They will also help establish, document and implement policies and systems that will help better manage projects and increase the level of the client experience. Responsibilities and Duties
Job Description:
- Coordinate on-site activities and monitor job progress
- Supervise all aspects of site safety
- Update Project Manager of job progress on daily basis
- Document all on site policies and systems
- Coordinate shipments and deliveries
- Perform qualitative and quantitative control on the job site
- Participate in on site and off site meetings
- Assist Project Manager with scheduling
- Manage on site record keeping
- Uphold Safety rules on site
- Ensure all staff, sub trades and any personnel on site conform to our rules and regulations
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors on site
- Ensure site and in clean and tide condition at the end of each day
- Assistance with any other area of the company
Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle
- Must be available to work flexible hours depending on job and access to site
- Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications :
- Relevant construction related post secondary program or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years site supervisor experience in commercial general construction
- Effective interpersonal skills to co-ordinate with contractors and clients
- Coordinate sub trades and materials to site
- Conduct project progress meetings
- Computer proficiency with MS Office programs
- Strong technical knowledge of the construction process and timelines
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of building and construction components
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized, good time management skills
- Outstanding multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
