What Does this Sales Role Look Like?
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, well-spoken, and patient focused individual to join our internal sales team and national call centre. This highly visible sales role contributes to the foundation of our core business. We are a private health care provider with 5 multidisciplinary centres across Canada, each offering Canadian residents’ rapid access to a range of surgical procedures and diagnostic services. This inside sales role would be responsible for educating Canadians on the option for out-of-province elective surgery, allowing patients to access care in Canada sooner by avoiding long wait times.
You would be responsible for responding to patient inquires for expedited surgery through email, text, live chat and by phone. Ensuring that leads are tracked in our CRM systems and reporting on sales lead conversion will be critical to your success. It is a collaborative environment where patient care is the number one priority.
What Would Your Day Look Like?
Answer patient inquiries through emails, phone, and live chat function, by clarifying information; costing, financing options, clinical studies, FAQ’s and physician information;
Gather and enter new sales leads, and prospects in management software systems (including all contact information and necessary billing information, patient profiles etc.);
Qualify patients by understanding client’s areas of concern and desires for improvement: build a trustworthy rapport, maintain ongoing dialogue with the patient, disseminate educational materials, recommend procedures;
Provide daily sales reports and dashboards to management, and report on marketing channels that are leading to successful lead generation;
Book patient consultations with physicians/surgeons;
Close sales by overcoming objections and by explaining the benefits, financing available and collect payment;
Meet or exceed weekly/monthly sales targets for consultations and surgeries booked;
Develop and utilize service metrics to drive performance, patient satisfaction;
Update process manual with new procedures, updates to systems, and processes;
Demonstrate thorough understanding of medical procedures and the long-term health benefits and features of the services we provide at a high level, including bariatric weight loss, cosmetic, and orthopedic surgery;
Collaborate with business managers, supervisors, physicians and support staff to facilitate case progression;
Partner with sales and client management to ensure ongoing support of market and patient needs;
Be responsible for meeting any service level commitments to all patients;
Keep current knowledge of key competitors including; location, pricing, promotions, programming and equipment;
Other tasks as required.
Do You Have?
University degree with a concentration in business, health sciences, and communication, is preferred;
Minimum 5 years work experience in sales, clinical healthcare, or consumer wellness, specializing in business development, client service (phone or in-person), and client loyalty programs will be a strong asset;
Understanding inter-provincial healthcare coverage and regulations, Canada Health Act;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, sales targets and competing business priorities;
Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and process flows;
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail;
Work independently and as part of a team;
Possess a patient-centric attitude, compassionate, listening skills;
Strong analytical and influencing skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook;
Knowledge and experience of marketing platform (CRM) and medical record management software (EMR), understanding database segmentation
Persistent attitude, number driven & self motived;
Experience in achieving sales requirements (volume-based work).
