The main objective of the Concrete Form Setter is to build and prepare wood forms for the construction of concrete structures such as sidewalks, patios, garbage pads and curb and gutter.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ of concrete construction experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a Form Setter with city specifications, curb and gutter, residential and commercial projects
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms
- Directing placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Checking formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement material in compliance with provided specifications.
- Stripping concrete forms
- Physical fitness, including the strength and dexterity to perform heavy labour
- Willingness to work long hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
