Wheelchair user seeking CASUAL Personal Care Attendant.
MUST DRIVE, this location is not accessible by bus
Shifts are roughly 3 hours long - start times are flexible between 7:30am to 8:30am; Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays. Potential for additional casual shifts as needed.
Duties include all activities of daily living:
- Dressing and undressing
- Transferring and positioning
- Bathing and hygiene
- Mobility assistance and range of motion exercises
- Meal preparation
- Housekeeping and laundry
Job requirements:
- Ability to travel to 315 Symington rd
- Able to speak and understand English
Preferred experience:
- Valid drivers license and vehicle required (NO BUS ACCESS)
- No experience is required
- Experience working with wheelchair users considered an asset, but not required
