We are currently seeking to add a Parts Driver to our growing team.
Title: Parts Driver
Location: Edmonton, AB
Position Type: Permanent Full Time / Seasonal
Reporting To: Parts Supervisor
Responsibilities and Duties
· Delivering required parts and materials to designations in a timely manner
· Operate company vehicles and equipment in a responsible manner
· Pre-plan routes
· Proper tie-down of parts being transported
· Load, unload, and prep of parts
· Tow behind hitch trailer, with various commodities
· Daily housekeeping / Maintaining shop areas
· Inventory control
· Record keeping of materials being picked up and delivered
· Communicate effectively with vendors and internal staff
· Upkeep of vehicle cleanliness
· Perform daily Pre-Trip inspections
· Assisting other departments
· Daily paperwork
· All tasks to be performed in compliance with company, contractor and ohs safety rules and regulations
Qualifications and Skills
· Experience towing trailers is required
· Knowledge of city driving within Edmonton and surrounding areas
· Class 5 driving license with clean driver’s abstract
· Physically capable to chain up, climb and secure loads (ability to lift 50+ lbs)
· Heavy equipment parts knowledge is an asset
· Minimum 2 years driving experience
· Ability to operate skid steer / forklift / loader is an asset
· Able to work in a fast paced environment
· Ability to work weekends, evenings and overtime
· Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
