MEE Sports is the leading manufacturer of custom sublimated made sportswear in Canada. Our sportswear is worn by many top athletes across North America. We are looking for a self-starter with computer and graphic arts experience. We are looking for a Digital Print and Art Production Assistant for our print room processing orders.
Digital Print and Art Production Assistant responsibilities include:
Co-ordinating with all departments and processing print projects.
Regular maintenance of printing equipment.
Providing regular progress reports.
Maintain an inventory of supplies and parts needed.
Complete all required paperwork, print requests, documents, etc. to keep job ticket information complete, and accurate.
Participate in training activities, committees, or other special assignments as needed.
Flexible schedule to work various situations.
Good attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
Additional Duties may include:
Operating other art production equipment as deemed necessary.
Provide assistance with basic graphic design.
Support Graphic artists.
Periodically assist in other departments as needed
Requirements:
This is an Entry Level Position with room to grow within our company.
Experience with printing and finishing equipment an asset.
Excellent time-management skills. You should be able to juggle multiple tasks and aggressive daily deadlines with minimal supervision and extraordinary attention to detail.
Work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion.
General shop cleaning on a scheduled basis and when needed or asked.
Basic to intermediate proficiency with Coreldraw or other graphics programs an asset.
Knowledge of a wide variety of programs used in graphics design and Skilled in use of desktop publishing, design layout, and form creation an asset.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Large format printer experience is ideal.
