Join our dynamic team as a Senior Pool & Spa Technician and take charge of maintaining and repairing high-end pools and spas with precision and expertise. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning, water balancing, and system inspections to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues involving pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and other pool/spa components using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential mechanical failures or safety concerns, proactively addressing maintenance needs.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex system problems efficiently and implement effective repair solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Lead by example in adhering to safety protocols during all maintenance activities while mentoring junior technicians on proper procedures.
- Assist in training team members on equipment repair techniques, pool cleaning methods, and maintenance best practices.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and related components.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Extensive experience in pool maintenance including water chemistry balancing, cleaning, skimming, brushing, and vacuuming pools or spas.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues quickly and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Service technician experience preferred; capable of managing multiple service calls efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to electrical systems, plumbing connections, and chemical handling within aquatic environments.
