Graphic and Creative Designer

Sun Glow is looking for an enthusiastic Graphic and Creative Designer to drive our brand presence and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have both print and digital design experience and demonstrates a compelling creative edge. Being self-motivated, comfortable at managing several priorities, and completing projects in a timely manner without compromising quality. The role requires the candidate to be very versatile as duties include web design, graphic design, social media management, and print based projects such as newsletters, magazines, and brochures. Being highly creative and great at content creation, yet detail-oriented is the key to success at this role. The most important trait that the candidate will possess is being able to generate engaging ideas, developing those ideas into concepts and taking those concepts and bringing them to life.


As a Graphic and Creative Designer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain brand standards and guidelines
  • Build and plan schedules and workflow for the design process of many marketing projects
  • Set creative direction online and offline
  • Participate in marketing strategic planning meetings on a project-by-project basis
  • Lead all creative and print production projects, including brochures, magazines, posters, banners, flyers, and social media posts
  • Create ads for online advertising campaigns
  • Create and implement UX/UI concepts and creative approaches
  • Lead and execute all web design projects including the web templates, landing pages, microsites, etc
  • Create prototypes for design concepts, mock-ups, and approved designs
  • Develop creative to support content for entire website, including home page sliders and web based ordering platforms
  • Ensure all digital assets reflect Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
  • Writes and edits marketing copy, Web copy and other content
  • Proactively present new and innovative ideas on messaging and creative, with an eye toward test & learn quick (A/B, multivariate), to improve ad response, social media engagement, and web experience, among other objectives
  • Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other company content


  • Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Min 3-5 years of graphic design and page-layout experience, video editing experience an asset
  • Experience working with CMS platforms, ideally WordPress
  • Cross-browser and mobile platform compatibility and responsive design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of digital marketing, including social media and SEO
  • Experience developing and maintaining brand standards and guidelines
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in graphics, User Interface (UI), web marketing, and SEO
  • Knowledge and experience in design and execution of print production; including digital, offset, large format and pre-press print-ready files an asset
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can organize several simultaneous projects with competing priorities
  • Superior project management skills
  • Super creative, yet highly detailed-oriented and organized
  • Strong communicator who can present their ideas articulately
  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or similar
