The Position
Resound School of Music is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Voice Teachers to teach private in-home singing lessons throughout Calgary. We're currently looking for teachers who live in Calgary's southwest and southeast communities, where demand for voice lessons continues to grow.

- Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Weekday afternoons and evenings (after 3:00 PM)
- We are especially interested in applicants living in or near Signal Hill, Aspen Woods, West Springs, Springbank Hill, Altadore, Marda Loop, Lake Bonavista, Mahogany, Auburn Bay, Cranston, Seton, Silverado, Legacy, and surrounding communities.

Job Responsibilities
As a Voice Teacher / Vocal Coach, you will:
- Travel to students' homes throughout SW and SE Calgary
- Teach private singing lessons (30–60 minutes)
- Develop customized lesson plans for students of different ages and abilities
- Teach vocal technique, breathing, ear training, musicianship, and performance skills
- Encourage students in a positive, supportive learning environment
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Strong vocal skills and training in singing or vocal performance
- Experience teaching private voice lessons to students of different ages and levels
- A positive, patient, and encouraging teaching style
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping students express themselves through music
Compensation
Our starting rate is $45.00–$55.00 per teaching hour. While travel time is not included, we plan routes and schedules strategically to minimize driving so you can maximize your time spent teaching.
Schedule
- Weekdays after 3:00 PM
- Optional weekend availability
- Flexible schedule — you choose your preferred number of students and hours
