- Follow all safety procedures outlined in the safety manuals.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid value propositions to existing and prospective customers related to food protein items.
-Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
-Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
-Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
-Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments as needed.
-Receive orders via phone, online, email and text messages from customers and deal with customer concerns.
-Review orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with accepted procedures
-Investigate discrepancies on invoices, errors, returns, shorts, credits, etc. and create solutions to resolve any issues if possible.
-Liaison between the Sales Order Desk and other internal departments of Pre Pak-Meats
- Maintain accurate call sheets in spreadsheets forms as well as in DTEC
-Input of information into DTEC to produce required product ordering, inventory, etc.
- Accountability: General Office Duties (20% of time)
-Assist other departments with vacation/sick coverage or when the workload demands require
-Responsible for collection of overdue accounts receivable
-Assist in any other type of customer/sales data entry as required
-Participation in sales meetings when scheduled (usually one Friday/month)
-Supply input into misc. flyers, price changes, web site updates to customers and sales reps
-Occasional coverage of calls for other sales reps to allow for special projects or sales presentation activity
-Provide administrative support (dealing with vendors, tracking debits and bill-backs etc. when required)
-Communicate customer intel with Pre Pak management
-Maintain relationships with all employees and customers as required with exceptional customer service.
-Other duties as assigned by management.
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office
-Travel would be based on account planning (estimate 50% out of town travel)
-Up to date drivers license abstract may be required upon job acceptance

What you’ll need to be successful:
Sales Account Managers with a healthy sense of adventure, who is willing to lead from the front, displays a strong work ethic, and has the ability to work well in changeable situations, wear many hats and support the Pre Pak-Management team as required under tight deadlines or being a trusted advisor to Management.
You will also Bring:
- -Minimum of 5-8 years experience of Retail & Food Service experience; ideally in a high-volume grocery/retail/food service/restaurant environment and a strong knowledge of meat cuts and meat buying, storage and warehouse management.

- -A passion for the meat industry, and ability to provide the highest standards in customer service, and Sales support ensuring our team complies to health, safety, and legal standards.

- -Experience in sales planning, reading & analyzing sales ordering reports, product & sales presentation & suppling the best-in-class customer service that we are know for in our industry as well as getting new sales to drive results.

- -Outgoing sales personality required to develop customer and community relations by working with Head Office and team leads, industry partners respectfully, knowledgeably, and effectively.

- -Capability to customer account manage model, reinforce new Sales & Marketing opportunities to me our sales expectations; combined with the ability to exemplify empathy in supporting the sales team.

- -Proven organizational, sales hunting, account planning, and prioritizing skills, meeting revenue forecasts/Quotas as well meeting customer order deadlines.

- -Ability to adapt to changing environments and situations by demonstrating proficiency in problem solving and decision-making skills while communicating sales, customer service, new growth for the Edmonton and territory markets.
