We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team in Kingston, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring all food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Cook menu items with precision while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout each shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Follow kitchen procedures and ensure every dish meets the restaurant's quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards is an advantage.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be willing to relocate to Kingston, Ontario if applying from another city.
