White Coad LLP is a well-established law firm serving the Oxford County and surrounding area, with offices located in Woodstock, Norwich, Delhi, Ayr and Stratford. Our firm practices primarily in the areas of Corporate Commercial law, Municipal and Land Planning, Residential & Commercial Real Estate, and Wills & Estate Planning.
We are seeking an experienced Law Clerk to handle primarily estate administration files on either a full-time or part-time basis in our Woodstock office.
Primary Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Drafting court documents for Applications as required;
· Communicating with clients, asset holders, courthouse staff and accountants in a professional and timely manner;
· Compiling estate data from various sources;
· Preparing and mailing Notices and various other correspondence to related parties;
· Preparing statements of Receipt and Disbursements and Distribution statements;
· Completing and filing Estate Information Returns and arranging for payment of probate fees, taxes etc. as may be required;
· Preparing funds for distribution and overseeing disbursement;
· Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
Requirements:
· At least two years experience as a law clerk working with Estate Administration files
· Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent
· Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
· Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Experience with Microsoft Office.
· Knowledge of Estateably, Will Builder and Soluno is an asset.
