About the Position
As the HR Administrative Coordinator, you will play a key role in recruiting and onboarding talent, ensuring candidates meet both the qualifications and culture fit for Commercial Cleaning Services. In addition, you will provide essential administrative support for record-keeping and ensure compliance with processes in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
This position is based out of our Corporate Head Office located in St. Catharines, ON.
Job Duties
- Prepare and post job advertisements through internal and external recruitment channels
- Pre-screen candidates and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment
- Liaise between the Human Resources and Operations Departments to ensure staffing needs are met and workers are onboarded in accordance with company procedures and client requirements
- Provide administrative support by organizing and maintaining employee records, drafting documents, and record keeping
- Accurately input and maintain employee information into electronic systems, ensuring data is correct
- Assist with HR reports and employee compliance
- Provide front-desk support and reception by handling incoming calls and responding to inquiries
- General administrative support as needed
What do I need?
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in an office environment or similar
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Time management skills and ability to multitask
- Understanding of general office procedures and equipment
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and documents
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Computer literacy, including strong Microsoft Office skills
- Positive, friendly mindset and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
- Police Background Check
- Preference will be given to candidates with multi-lingual abilities
