Vector Electric and Controls is an industry-leading electrical, instrumentation, and automation contractor specializing in the construction and maintenance of utility infrastructure (water & wastewater treatment, distribution & collection).
We are seeking a Site Project Coordinator to support our construction team on projects at the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant. This role is ideal for a Journeyperson Electrician, Electrical Technologist, or someone with industrial construction experience who is looking to advance their project coordination and management skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project scheduling and coordination
- Develop cable schedules, wire tag lists, and lamacoid schedules
- Coordinate material purchasing, receiving, and inventory tracking
- Track labour hours, installed quantities, and project progress
- Support QA/QC documentation and turnover packages
- Maintain as-built drawings and project records
- Assist with change order pricing and quantity takeoffs
- Maintain tool and equipment logs
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with suppliers, engineers, clients, and contractors
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Technology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Bluebeam and/or AutoCAD is an asset
- Industrial construction experience is considered an asset
