WorleyCord Energy Solutions Ltd. is seeking a:
Journeyperson Millwright
To work at our BHP Potash Mine Project in Jansen, Saskatchewan.
- SALARY: $$30.60-$51
- BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
- OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day
- Travel: Paid travel allowance every shift
- ACCOMMODATIONS: Camp
- START DATE: ASAP
- SCHEDULE: 14 days on 7 days off
- HOURS PER DAY: 11
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
- DURATION: TBD
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Millwright ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must have experience working at heights
- Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment on industrial sites, including motor alignments
- Must have pump assembly experience
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
- Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
- Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments
- Perform predictive and operational procedures
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- May do some tack welding (a weld that is adequate in size to temporarily hold components in place until it can be completely welded by a registered apprentice welder or a journeyman welder) and fabrication as well as maintain an inventory of replacement parts
- Previous industrial construction experience
