Skater’s Edge Source for Sports is a locally owned and operated sporting goods retailer serving athletes across Northern Ontario. We specialize in hockey, skating, baseball, lacrosse, ringette, and soccer, and are passionate about helping athletes perform their best while staying connected to our community through local events, teams, and organizations.
We are looking for a Production & Graphics Associate to join our team in Sudbury. This is a fast-paced production and customer service role. The successful candidate will be responsible for heat pressing apparel, preparing artwork for print, assisting the internal team with production tasks, and supporting our Graphic Designer on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Heat press apparel and ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate with internal team members to confirm logos, placement, lead times, and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate customer notes and order details
- Prepare artwork for DTF printing
- Vectorize simple logos
- Assist in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Send large-format files to print on a variety of materials
- Complete production orders in a timely manner
- Respond to customer and internal emails and phone calls professionally and promptly
- Support the Graphic Designer and production team with day-to-day tasks
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Comfortable using computers, email, and basic software applications
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to learn technical production processes and ask questions
- Previous customer service, production, or artistic experience is an asset
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, or similar software is an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
