Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Brewer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for brewing and a solid understanding of the industry. This role involves overseeing the brewing process, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards throughout production. The Brewer will play a key role in brewing and packaging products for Calgarys Best Pubs.
Duties
- Operate brewing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Monitor fermentation processes.
- Conduct quality control tests to ensure consistency in flavor, aroma, and appearance.
- Recipe development.
- Package finished products with a primary focus on kegging.
- Maintain accurate records of production processes, including batch numbers and ingredient usage.
- Day to day work will be a mix of brewing, tank cleaning, transfers, keg washing, and keg filling.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in the industry is required.
- Ability to move 25 kg regularly.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to operate a forklift (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small team, while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced production setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
