About the Role
This is a hands-on working supervisor position. You will be on the floor alongside your team every day while taking ownership of daily operations, productivity, safety compliance, and team performance. You are the direct link between warehouse staff and management.

Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination with standing workbench.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, listen, use, handle, feel and/or lift with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of 6–12 warehouse sorters and general labourers
- Work with management to assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure targets are met
- Conduct or assist with onboarding and training of new employees
- Enforce safety protocols and lead by example on the floor
- Identify and report performance issues to management in a timely manner
- Coordinate workflow across sorting, disassembly, and packing operations
- Communicate daily operational updates to management
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Experience: Working in a fast-paced production environment
- Language: Speak, Read and Write English — strong communication skills are essential for this role
- Weight Handling: Able to lift weights up to 50 lbs
- Own Equipment: Steel-Toe Safety Boots
- Transport: Own transport required — limited public transit available to Acheson
Skills & Attributes
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Adhere to and enforce safety protocols — SAFETY IS ESSENTIAL
- Ability to use small power tools and assist with disassembly of electronic materials
- Sort, pack and crate materials and products
- Work well in and lead a team environment
- Dependability, Reliability, and Punctuality are a must
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Good listening, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to take direction from management while providing clear direction to staff
