Overview
Better Minds Counselling is searching for a therapist who is a Registered Social Worker (MSW) or Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) to join our team. We are centrally located in the heart of London, Ontario (with free onsite parking). We are looking for someone who is available to incorporate evening and weekend availability into their schedule and who works with couples. We are looking for someone who uses a direct and collaborative approach to therapy. We want someone who is able to connect with clients, while also helping them achieve their therapy goals. Using a practical approach to therapy and making a plan with the client to get them to a better place. Utilizing treatment plans and homework to help them achieve their goals. Therapists are expected to also do their own marketing and networking to build their caseload.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counselling psychology, psychotherapy, or Social Work.
- Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Our therapists should have experience with one or more of the following modalities/therapeutic approaches: Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), or Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) approaches is considered an asset.
