Certified Maintenance Technician (Midnight Shift)

Shift: Straight Midnight Shift
Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Windsor, Ontario. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime and safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Red Seal Certification or a Certificate of Qualification recognized or issued by Skilled Trades Ontario (STO).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/JIT environment.
- Technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Millwright, or Fabrication is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance calls.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret PLCs, blueprints, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend process improvements.
- Track downtime, complete maintenance documentation, and manage parts inventory.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and work overtime as required.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding knowledge.
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read PLCs, blueprints, and schematics.
- Forklift and aerial lift certification is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
