Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in home repair and maintenance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to tackle various tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and that all repairs are completed to a high standard.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify issues that require attention.
- Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while performing all tasks.
- Document completed work orders and report any additional issues found during inspections.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and methods.
- Familiarity with tools, materials, and safety practices relevant to maintenance work.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
