Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Take orders from customers, process payments using the POS system, and manage cash handling accurately.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with local laws.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about drink selections, and making recommendations.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong math skills for managing transactions and providing accurate change.
- Familiarity with cashiering practices and POS systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
