Kimchi Korean Restaurant is a fast-growing Korean restaurant located in the heart of downtown Regina. We proudly serve a variety of traditional and modern Korean dishes in a warm and welcoming environment.
We are currently hiring for the following part-time positions:
Front of House (FOH) Team Member
We are looking for an outgoing, positive, and energetic individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Taking orders and operating the POS system
- Running food and making beverages
- Assisting with dishwashing and light food preparation
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant
- Multitasking during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift and carry moderately heavy items
- Quick learner with strong teamwork skills
- Interest in Korean food and culture is considered a big asset
- Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required
Line Cook (BOH)
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients and cooking menu items according to recipes
- Maintaining food quality and consistency
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organized
- Following food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Experience in Asian cuisine is considered a strong asset
- Interest in Korean cuisine is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate
Compensation
- Wage will be reviewed following a 3-month probationary period and completion of training.
- Starting wage after successful training begins at $16.00/hour, with opportunities for increases based on performance and experience.
Growth Opportunities
Although these positions are currently part-time, we are looking for individuals interested in growing with our company long-term. Dedicated team members may have opportunities to advance into FOH Manager or BOH Manager roles, with wages starting from $17.00/hour and up, depending on experience and responsibilities.
