Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency in construction management software. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
Duties
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and construction estimating software for project documentation, collaboration, and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress regularly; adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet deadlines.
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, enforce safety protocols, and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes throughout the project duration.
- Manage change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other contractual documentation effectively.
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates to all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or related field with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools.
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to lead impactful projects within a dynamic environment that values professionalism and innovation in construction management.
Pay: $59,723.77-$131,099.78 per year
