Keyera is currently seeking a Facility Operator to join our

Pembina North Gas Plant, Bigoray Gas Plant and Cynthia Gas

Plant in the Drayton Valley North area.

Suitable living area’s for this location would be Drayton Valley

and surrounding area. There is no camp available, however

there is transportation based out of Drayton Valley area

provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform intermediate to senior level operating assignments
on plant equipment.

  • Work with team on preventative maintenance and ensure
  • equipment is running efficiently and safe.
  • Monitor facility readings, product sampling and quality
control.

  • Assist with contractor, driver orientation and supervision for
on-site operations.

  • Participate in review, modification or development of facility
procedures.

  • Support engineering and maintenance teams with various
projects.

ABOUT THE FACILITIES

The faculties are located 130-170

kilometers southwest of Edmonton.

Cynthia

The Cynthia gas plant offers a full range

of gas processing services including inlet

compression, sour gas processing, deep-

cut NGL recovery, acid gas injection and

oil emulsion treating.

Bigoray

The Bigoray gas plant offers a full range

of gas processing services including inlet

compression, sour gas processing,

deepcut NGL recovery, acid gas injection

and oil emulsion treating.
Zeta Creek

The Plant is a sweet gas processing

facility which offers inlet separation, inlet

compression, shallow cut refrigeration

and condensate stabilization.
Brazeau North & Pembina North

Brazeau North gas plant is a sweet gas

processing facility with natural gas liquids

(NGL) recovery. Due to its close

proximity and overlapping gathering

systems, the Brazeau North and

Pembina North gas plants are operated

as a gathering and processing complex.

The pipelines between the two plants

allow for the offload of gas between the

facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic,

and service oriented with the following qualifications:
  • 3 years previous applicable experience related to Natural
Gas.

  • Fourth Class inter-provincial steam ticket is preferred as a
minimum.

  • Fired Process Heat Operator (FPHO) is a strong asset.
  • Plant Processing.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal
supervision.

  • Strong team player with proven communication, problem
solving and decision making skills.

  • Highly organized, reliable individual with attention to detail.
  • Participate in the facility work functions as a team member
with a focus on internal and external customer service.

  • Operate the facility in a safe, economical and efficient
manner using quality principals.

  • Valid H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG and First Aid Certificates
would be an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • At the sole discretion of management, other combinations of
directly relevant experience and educational credentials will

be considered.
