PROJECT COORDINATOR — CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATION
Invermere, BC | Full-Time
Ready to be the person who keeps the entire project moving?
Vision Project Services is growing, and we're looking for a Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, catches the details others miss, and knows how to turn organized chaos into a project that runs smoothly.
We’re a construction and renovation company serving the Columbia Valley, known for fast, high-quality workmanship, creative problem-solving, and exceptional customer service.
This isn’t a “sit at a desk and push paperwork” job.
You’ll be at the centre of our projects—coordinating permits, materials, schedules, documentation, vendors, budgets, customers, and everything in between.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll help take projects from “Let’s build it” to “It’s done.”
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing contracts, project documentation, and administrative requirements
- Obtaining, organizing, and filing required municipal permits
- Maintaining project schedules and keeping deadlines on track
- Coordinating with vendors to order and schedule delivery of materials
- Assisting with budgetary figures and project estimates
- Maintaining accurate customer and project profiles
- Tracking project progress and verifying key milestones and benchmarks
- Adjusting schedules and contracts when projects evolve
- Documenting each phase of a project accurately
- Providing billing support and reviewing invoices when required
- Tracking inventory and equipment to help keep projects within budget
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make our operations more efficient
Bottom line: You’ll help make sure the right people, materials, paperwork, and information are in the right place at the right time.
YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF…
You’re highly organized, proactive, and detail-obsessed—in a good way.
You can juggle multiple projects without losing track of the small stuff. You communicate clearly, solve problems instead of passing them along, and aren’t afraid to speak up when something needs attention.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of administrative support experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- The ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple projects or priorities simultaneously
- A proven ability to improve and optimize processes
- A highly organized, take-charge approach to work
THE PERSON WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need to know everything on Day 1.
What matters is that you’re sharp, dependable, organised, and willing to own your work.
If you see a problem, you don’t wait for someone else to fix it.
If something is falling behind, you flag it.
If a process can be better, you find a better way.
And if you’re the kind of person who gets genuine satisfaction from having all the moving pieces under control, you’ll probably fit right in.
