The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Network Administrator for our IT Team within our Home Office located at 116 Nature Park Way in Winnipeg, MB.

As a Network Administrator you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting the organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), communications systems, Internet/Intranet systems, and network segments.

As a Network Administrator, you will:
Administer the operation of all LAN/WAN related network services according to company policies and procedures.
Administer the organization’s communications infrastructure according to company policies and procedures.
Plan, coordinate, the design, installation, and connectivity of computer and network systems including new and existing network hardware, software and communication links.
Ensures the stability and integrity of voice, data, video and wireless network services.
Define and document network configuration, policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and related network problems and provide capacity planning solutions.
Administer LAN/WAN security, firewalls, antivirus and spam control measures in order to protect data, software and hardware.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Maintain logs related to network functions and maintenance repair records.

As a successful candidate you will have the following:
Four year degree/diploma in computer science or management information systems with 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in a geographically distributed environment
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Cisco products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
Technical skills compatible with our environment
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes irregular workdays/hours
On call 24/7 as required
