Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cafeteria Worker to join our food service team. This role involves preparing and serving meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a positive experience for all workers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer interaction within a supportive team environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times during preparation and serving
- Follow sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required
Shifts : afternoon shift – Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 11pm and
Friday 2:30pm to 8:30pm
Days Shift - 7am to 3:30pm
Rate - $21
