Carpenter/Framer/Exterior Cladding installer
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25-$40 per hour ( Depending on experience)
Experience Level: Minimum 3 years
Job Responsibilities (Carpenter/Framer):
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Frame walls, floors, and roofs according to project requirements.
- Repair and renovate existing structures with precision.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and supervisors.
Job Responsibilities (Exterior Cladding Installer):
- Install exterior cladding including siding, soffit, and fascia
- Measure, cut, and install materials with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, elevations, and project drawings
- Ensure all exterior finishes meet company quality standards
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Work efficiently alongside crew members and site supervisors
- Safely operate hand and power tools required for exterior finishing work
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
- Complete projects on schedule while maintaining workmanship standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry/Exterior cladding experience.
- Working at heights training/certificate
- WHMIS
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods.
- Strong knowledge of exterior construction methods and building practices
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment
