Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and self-driven Store Manager to operate our Yogen Früz location at York University.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives working autonomously, takes full ownership of operations, and enjoys building a welcoming and engaging environment for guests. This role requires a high level of accountability and commitment to ensuring consistent store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage all day-to-day store operations
- Open and close the location, including cash handling, reconciliation, and bank deposits
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive, welcoming guest experience
- Maintain a high standard of guest hospitality, including proactive interaction and building strong customer relationships
- Prepare and serve products according to brand standards
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering and replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure health & safety compliance at all times
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure the store is fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Collaborate with management on promotions and operational improvements
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in food service, retail, or a similar environment
- Previous leadership or keyholder experience required
- Strong sense of accountability with the ability to work independently
- High expectations for guest hospitality, with a focus on guest engagement and relationship-building
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Comfortable handling cash, reconciliation, and completing bank deposits
- Strong commitment to owning the accountability of ensuring the store is open and operating Monday to Friday
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Availability to work consistent weekday shifts (Monday–Friday)

Pay: $20.00 per hour
