Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations. Global Gourmet Foods is a federally registered food manufacturer who supplies premium kettle products to key accounts in both domestic and export markets.
We are seeking dynamic individuals responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory information, while ensuring effective inventory management is being conducted. This position is also responsible for supporting various administrative needs of the warehouse team.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Responsible for the daily operations report update and analyze, track of all shipping and receiving material and finished goods
- Responsible for Investigation, comparison of physical inventory used with existing inventory system, provide daily measurements, and minimize variance in the plant operation supplement
- Report and record incoming shipments and packages for completeness and damage data in a timely manner
- Ensures support proper information to track the rotation of product in the cooler and freezer with First-In-First-Out (FIFO) where applicable
- Ensure and verify product code, BBD and coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor
- Tracking daily spice and raw material preparation schedule vs actual usage
- Ensure a log of purchase orders is kept for traceability
- Responsible for invoicing with accuracy using both software systems & distribution
- Communicates with shipper/receiver regarding the shipment (confirming trucking requirements, shipping destinations), sometime confirm with outside warehouse.
- Communicates and organizes deliveries and shipments with outside trucking companies and their staff
- Conducts scheduled inventory counts in conjunction with Purchasing and Materials Management
- Communicates and organizes activities with scheduler, purchaser and other functions
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in both written and verbal English with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese would be an asset
- Previous experience in warehouse and inventory control management is an asset
- Proficiency in Office 365, strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to set priorities and manage schedule with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to communicate with various stake holders in the organization
- Experience in ERP systems and warehouse operations in a food manufacturing industry an asset
