The City of Calgary is seeking Project Coordinators to support the Chief Housing Office (CHO) in the effective delivery of capital and operational project portfolios. Supporting Project Managers and leadership, this position provides project coordination, project controls, communication, documentation, reporting, and logistical administrative support to help advance housing programs and initiatives.
The CHO leads The City's work to improve housing outcomes for Calgarians by advancing housing policy, strategy, funding, programs, partnerships, and advocacy. The team works collaboratively with internal business units, other orders of government, housing providers, and community partners to support increased supply, choice, and affordability of market and non-market homes. Primary duties include:

Coordinate project activities and support the delivery of assigned capital and operational projects in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and project management standards.

Track and maintain project information related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, decisions, action items, and deliverables.

Support project controls and financial administration, including cost tracking, invoice review, data validation, and updates to project management and reporting tools. Maintain accurate project records and ensure timely updates to scheduling and reports. Ensure documentation and records management complies with The City's corporate standards.

Consolidate project information for dashboards, monthly reporting cycles, and presentations.

Coordinate communication and information flow with internal teams, consultants, housing providers, and other interested parties to support timely decision-making and issue resolution. Maintain effective working relationships.

Prepare meeting materials, agendas, minutes, action logs, dashboards, reports, presentations, and briefing materials for Project Managers and leadership. Facilitate meetings and communicate updates related to project progress.

Conduct research, environmental scans, and monitoring of relevant housing trends, initiatives, news, and events; summarize findings and identify opportunities that support CHO priorities. Communicate analysis with relevant parties.
