Qualifications: Must have valid G license and clean driver's abstract (must provide proof). Proficient in operating a mid/mini excavator, drill/locator (training can be provided for drill) skid steer, and towing various large trailers, filling out log books as required.
*** Experience with physical labour (lots of digging) and working outdoors (all weather conditions) hot/cold/rain. Safety orientated with POSITIVE attitude and work ethic. Advanced knowledge of power tools and hand tools. Mechanically inclined is a must.
Labour to include adding fill, shovelling, raking, concrete finishing, jackhammering, part delivery, maintenance to all vehicles and equipment. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. You are able to work in stressful conditions and be problem solving oriented. You must be able to work independently. Capable of lifting 50+ lbs. Must have steel toed boots. Maintain a safe work environment (ZERO policy for marijauna use or sleeping during work hours).
Responsibilities: Clean and lubricate and refill equipment tanks. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Musk know how to do basic automotive repairs. Organizational skills (pre-job duties include reviewing maps/locates/ordering materials). Load and unload directional drill equipment safely and in a timely matter. Transport tools, materials, and/or equipment between job sites. Assist plumber, supervisor with various tasks as needed. Supervise junior staff and job site as needed. Help remove and reinstate concrete and soils as required. General labourer duties and other tasks as needed.
