Join our team at Berries and Cream and serve our unique New Zealand-style real fruit ice cream from a beautifully converted horse trailer in Port Carling.
We're looking for someone friendly, reliable, and outgoing who genuinely enjoys interacting with people and creating a great customer experience. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who is available to work evenings, weekends, events, and additional shifts as needed throughout the summer.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Prepare and serve ice cream with consistency and attention to detail
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Open and close the trailer and work independently
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
- Uphold food safety standards and health regulations
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Friendly, personable, and confident interacting with customers
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Strong communication skills
- Able to stay organized and composed during busy periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation to and from Port Carling
- Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
