The Role:
Our Destination Specialists work in teams that focus on specific regions of the world so they can go deeper and become true experts who know more than your typical travel advisor. They also draw on their wealth of experiences, not only as travel professionals but as travelers and people with diverse interests. When working with Goway, you don’t get cookie-cutter advice and travel planning help. You get expert service from passionate travelers who have dedicated their lives, personally and professionally, to exploring the world.
Compensation:
- You'll start with CAD 45,000 base pay and the ability to earn uncapped commission after training.
- You will be eligible to participate in the Company RRSP in accordance with plan terms.
- You get 15 days off each year!
- You will get a bonus payment per month at % of the target

- You can choose your hours between 9 AM to 5 PM EST or 10 AM to 6 PM PST, whichever is more convenient for you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by drawing on your proven performance to convert enquiries into bookings, utilizing effective qualifying, follow up, and quote management processes
- Ensure all reservations are processed with careful attention to detail, maintaining administrative tasks including documents, managing schedule changes, and processing airline tickets
- Uphold Goway Travel’s exceptional standard of service throughout all interactions such as email, telephone, and online chat
- Develop long-lasting connections with your customers, creating referrals and repeat business
- Be a true ambassador for Goway Travel and represent values at all times
- Utilize preferred vendors to provide the best costs to customers and maximize profits
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least two years of proven success in travel sales.
- Passion for travel with international experience beyond North America and the Caribbean.
- A strong drive for success that is evident in your performance.
- Proactive attitude with the motivation to meet goals and sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in customizing products to meet individual needs and finding satisfaction in delighting customers.
- Highly organized with excellent time management, capable of juggling multiple priorities and bookings.
- Eager to continually learn about your role and the destinations you sell.
- In-depth knowledge of one or more Goway destinations, such as Africa, Asia, South Pacific, Central & South America, US & Canada, UK, and Europe.
- Knowledge of Amadeus is a plus.
