How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Residential Collector, you will manage financial risk for a specific portfolio and perform collections on overdue accounts. This is a 12 month term opportunity.

Here’s How You’ll Do It

Using your high attention to detail, customer service mindset, and ability to multi-task effectively, you will identify and manage credit risk within a specific portfolio. You will balance both inbound and outbound calling using phone, fax, and email to contact customers. You will work with customers to manage repayment plans and accept and process payments. Preparing accounts for placement with third party collection, acting as a second line support for credit approvals on residential accounts, and sending daily notifications to customers as appropriate are all part of this role’s responsibilities.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Post-secondary education in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience working in customer service.
Solid knowledge of MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a credit and collections role.
Bilingualism, written and spoken (French / English) is a definite asset.
Credit designations such as CCP (Certified Credit Professional) an asset.
Financial risk management skills.
